Haro Sabu Agricultural Research Center (HsARC)
Haro Sabu Agricultural Research Center (HsARC) was established in 2002 E.C/2009 G.C under Oromia Agricultural Research Institute (IQQO). The Center is located in Kellem Wollega Zone Dale Sadi woreda Haro Sabu town. The center own 58 hectares of land used for experimental and seed multiplication, and 5.2 hectares for Bureau/office and researcher residential purposes.
The center is located at 550 km West of the capital, Addis Ababa, of Ethiopia. HsARC lies between latitude 8053’50.60’’N and 35013’37.60’’E longitude at an altitude of 1510 masl. Mid-altitude with an annual average rainfall ranges from 1400-1800 mm and temperature of hot humid ranges from16.30 0C to 35.14 0C.
